The two-days fair took place at the hotel on the 13 June 2009 from 11am to 8pm and 14 June 2009 from 11am to 5pm.
A variety of activities will take place throughout the fair to promote local arts, culture and tradition. Admission is free of charge and the event is open to all.

Yayasan Tuanku Nur Zahirah (Under the Royal Patronage of Seri Paduka Baginda Raja Permaisuri Agong Tuanku Nur Zahirah) supports single weavers, and promotes and preserves the country's songket herritage. It aims is to improves lives through heritage by creating fair employment opportunities for artisans and weavers.
Before the launching, we are shared with a short video about the Yayasan Tuanku Nur Zahirah songket making. It was a heart warming video and we are all impressed by the skills of the songket weavers.
